Fantastic work dude.
They say it stays flexible, so it is able to shrink or expand when tempature rises in the engine compartment.

This is the only thing I am worried about with the stuff I used as it is not flexible.

This week I was able to restore some parts of the chassis/frame/flooring.
Next job is to mount the sills. Left side, non-sliding door first.

This week I welded my brothers car, his Russian Lada Niva 1.7 lpg. Had to replace new wheel-arches, on both sides.

Hi there,
The Lada Niva is done, time for my bay again.
The Lada;

The works on my T2 chassis;
Cutted out these rear belt sections because they were to rusty, both sides;

Replacing some of the chassis jacking points and cross members;

Adjusted a jacking point so it fits;

Hope to finish the chassis soon, so I can weld in the Sills.

Hi everybody,

It's been a while now, time for an update;

First replaced the LH-sills (driver side in my case)
Finished some chassis parts...

New inner sill...

Middle inner sill...

New outer sill ready for welding...

Some welding...

Then replaced the LH rear wheel-corner.

And finally started to build up the bottom of the van again.

And some idea for roofing/side panels noise-absorption maybe;
