I have found another selection that might be of help. Not to take away from anyone on this wonderful site ...

This hitch dose have some very good points.1) you can still use stock bumper 2) you can use a wide variety

of after market exhaust systems :bliss:

68-71 Bus Hitches
They are finally here. A no joke, heavy hitch for early bay window buses. These bolt the the frame in the rear and the bumper and splash pans bolt to the hitch eliminating the original brackets. No cutting, welding or modifying anything on the bus. Only for 68 to 71 buses. Guaranteed only to fit with stock bus exhaust. May fit with other exhaust systems but I can't promise it. As with the tow bars I build these as ordered and production is slow so bare with me.
1-1/4" ball mount is included while I have them in stock.

I can make them with a 2 inch receiver for $20 more. Just let me know when you order it. However I don't have any ball mounts to go with the two inch models.

Note: some people are using them with collector headers but not all headers are the same
