does anyone know whether Eurotunnel consider Type 2 buses as cars or campers.....theres a big price difference ?

Also, any recommended accomodation around Le Touquet ?

For future trips further afield,is there a directory of Type 2 specialists , so i can plan a route ?

I always book as a car, when you book just say its a Volkswagen Type 2. :) It's shorter and lower than a lot of estate cars, 4x4's etc.

If you book the ferry, book as a motorhome and then it asks for vehicle measurements and charges based on size.last Aug a week open return was around £100 which I thought very reasonable.i can't comment on the tunnel as not used it with the Bus.

If you want somewhere free to stay then this 'Aire' is excellent and just south of where you mention. Type this into google maps...
