Twin Weber IDF40 Carbs ....shall I??

I have a 1640 dual port with single carb that coughs away in low gear. In thinking of getting twin webers. Any advice as Im not too sure what extra performance I will get or whether its worth the money? Thx Watty

Twin 40's will run on a smaller motors but I'd recommend twin 36's. I had them on my 1600 and it ran sweet as fook 8)
