It needs a serious enthusiast to take it on, really.
I think I'll do some of the work on it (rebuild cab doors, new roof bellows, tidy up a bit) and keep it for a while. I don't want to be without a camper, so I'll try to find another good Dormobile before I sell this one. bit like being on the housing ladder.

I've put it on 'Bay Watch' too, but I just thought I'd mention on this thread that I've just seen another D4/8 on Ebay. It needs a lot of work, but it seems quite original.
I'm not sure how to post links, but the item number is 260131427033. 8)
Assuming the seller does not know how rare the D4/8s are, I sent him/her a message with some info on them.

I said that mine would need a real enthusiast, but that one needs a real serious enthusiast !
FWIW I decided to keep mine (for the moment at least) as I don't want to be without one. If/when I find another Dormobile I like, I'll get that and then pass on my 4/8.
PS: Tim at Dormobile sent me a photocopy of the original 4/8 sales blurb if anybody is interested.
