Evening all, sorted the front indicator/side light issue thanks to you guys, now moving to the rear.... Don't want to lose the red rear lenses and believe you can use the reverse lights as indicators.
Anyone done this to guide me in the right direction for wiring, also I assume I can keep the clear lenses and fit orange bulbs?

Thanks in advance

Yes. As standard the brake light and indicator filament is shared, so run a new feed for the indicator to the reverse light and fit and orange bulb. That leaves you with a seperate red stop and tail light. Sorted.

I am in a similar predicament, but i want to keep the reversing lights, so I have fitted UK reflectors with a separate indicator, I will be fitting green LED bulbs that flash through the red and appear amber, I can then keep the reversing lights ;)

just a thought.

That's an interesting thought, no re-wiring but new reflectors, I'd like to keep the reverse lights too but was going to sacrifice if needed.
Assume this approach is ok for mot?

I went with the cheaper option of mothballing the reverse light wiring and using the reverse lights as indicators. It made for an easy and basic transfer. It's reversible if needs be but I'm planning on finding a nice period reversing lamp and mounting it on the bumper as I'm quite fond of where the indicators are now.
