Vanfest - Can't wait

With only about 4 days left, I must say I am very excited about my 2nd Vanfest .

Unfortunatly I was unsure about work commitments and couldnt prebook my tickets. It would have
been great to have stayed in the EB club camping, however I am just pleased that I have got some
tickets for a sensible price!!

I just hope that I do make it there, last year was a nine hour wait for recovery on the way home , but
just had the van checked out and have been told that it should be ok.

I have not been on the forum for a while as I did fall out with the van for a while due to breaking down everytime
I used it but after some fantastic camping trips and having it MOt'd and a bit of work done to it, I just want to use
it all of the time.

I look forward to meeting some of you.

If anyone is leaving from the Norfolk area, keep an eye out for a White tin-top just in case it does decide not
to play ball!!

Will keep an eye out dude! Same sort of worries with my bus. Am near Peterborough, so probably using the same route.(A14, M6,M42,M5) Currently working in Norwich, Kettle Chips at Bowthorpe? Staying in crap hotel on Thorpe Road, at least near Coach and Horses, top pub! Riverside seems really quiet, used to be heaving?

Yeah, will be using that route. I think I will be leaving quite early just in case!!

You must be staying near to where I have my business on Yarmouth Road, good location as there is loads
of pubs along the road. Always good when works a little quiet!!

Norwich tends to be a little quiet during the week, usually busier on a Saturday night. Coach and Horses
is a top pub, great atmosphere when Norwich City are playing at home.

Have seen all the fantastic photos of your buses/vans and it would be great to put a face
to the van.

As the wife and I are new to the whole VW scene, we would like to get more involved and
meet you if you are having a get together at the EB camp.

Any idea of where you will be camped???

We are leaving Norwich at around 6ish so the wife tells me :roll: , At least it will give me plenty of time.

I would think you will probably end up catching me up....look out for the white 71 danbury, I am
hoping that it wont be broken down on the side of the road

If not I will try to find the EB camp to meet some new people.
