Not the van's fault, it sailed through with just some advisories on perished rubber bits. The real expense came when I found a 1967 Karmann Ghia for sale at the garage. This one to be precise..

oops... I bought the number plate and got the car for free! Just need somewhere to keep it now :)

It's got a 2l Subaru conversion, linked to a cog box gearbox, and disc brakes all round. It's been converted to RHD. I'm not too keen on the wheels, I'd prefer something more period.

That's pretty much what I told my other half! :lol:

I'm a bit of a magpie and like shiny things, so I can see a fair bit of chrome making it's way back on to the car :)
