We have found this amazingly original 1974, RHD, Devon Eurovette camper, which has had just 4 previous owners in its lifetime. It has clearly been loved & very well looked after, which its condition confirms.

Starting inside the cab area is perfect, original seat & door cards, floor mats & even the radio are all in very good condition. It has a cab bunk which is quickly removable or can stay mounted as in the picture, this canvas is in a "deckchair", style material, which incidentally the previous owner , in order to preserve the original upholstery, had a full set of extra cushions & curtains made, covered in the "deckchair" material. These all come with the camper as well.

Behind the drivers seat is a wardrobe, which houses all 5 table legs, one for the table inside for the dinette or use 4 for when you're using it outside. On the back of this unit is a single seat that faces rearwards & is still complete with its very rare matching headrest !

Opposite this is a forward facing bench seat which has an aftermarket lap & 3 point belt. This has a rock'n'roll movement to convert it into a comfortable double bed, again all finished in its original upholstery & in almost perfect condition. The full set of matching '70's curtains are also still in place.

The cooker unit was an ingenious design from the Devon conversion, as you can either cook inside the camper, as shown in the picture or rotate through 90 degrees & position it outside the camper for alfresco dining, whilst keeping the cooking smells at bay !

Next you have the sink & cupboard area & even the original water container & manual pump are all present, as are the leather straps to hold the worktops up whilst working, these on a 40 year old camper are normally long gone.

As you can see it has a lovely white vinyl elevating roof, which gives a real sense of space whilst having your picnic or camping, which also has its two original un-torn fabric bunks.

The body is finished in it brilliant original colour scheme of "Pastel white" over "Orient blue", this was refreshed in 2008 to keep the camper looking its best.

The clock displays 18,000 miles which I would think is quite possibly just the second time (118,000), as the cab condition, such as the steering wheel wear & the fact that the gear change is so smooth & tight, would lead to confirm this, although there's no proof of this. I know the last owner only did 7,000 miles in their 6 years of ownership.

The previous owner was told that the camper has never been welded underneath , with the exception of a small area on the front beam & a small patch on the n/s inner wheel arch. An adjuster was professionally fitted to the front beam, with bills to prove to allow just a slight lowering of the suspension, but this can very easily be raised back to stock height.

To resolve a low compression issue, new cylinder heads were professionally fitted, again with bills to prove in 2010, with 4,500 trouble free miles driven since.

The old gent that originally owned the camper bought a matching "Coleman", awning & to look after this he built a "Real wood", storage box to look after it, this all comes with the camper. The awning has just one tiny whole in the section that joins the awning to the bus ! He also made a matching storage box which has a rubber mat on top to double as a step, all adding to the charm !

The bus comes with 11 months mot & taxed until October, which of course will be tax exempt next year.

I have some service history, a photocopy of the original sales brochure & the original handbooks & even the original Eurovette owners manual !

This truly is a beautiful original & very honest camper, with many hard to find qualities, that I'll be sad to see go. The next owners will no doubt enjoy it, as it was designed to be used, whilst having the sound knowledge of a very good investment, message me to arrange a viewing, I'm looking for £15,995 ovno.
