After reading all the advice on this forum on stainless steel exhausts, I decided to bite the bullet, spend some cash and get one of the Vintage Speed Sport Mufflers with the standard tailpipe. I wanted to run it with heat exchangers and I'm using a stock carb set up, so I needed all the whistles and bells to go with it.

Having spoken to Dan at vintagespeed.co.uk and checking that he had all the parts I needed, I duly paid via the website. 24 hours later my in-built paranoia kicked in as I wasn't sure it came with all the gaskets etc that I needed. A few emails later, Dan had confirmed that the parcel would indeed provide me with all the gaskets, but unfortunately he didn't have the heat risers. Gutted as I didn't want to have to wait another 3 or 4 weeks before i could replace my rapidly failing single quiet pack.

I spoke to Dan a couple of days later and he confirmed that he has had the missing part rushed over from Taiwan and was about to package it all up ready for the couriers!! Cue much joy at my end. I am now the proud owner of a rather fetching exhaust discretely poking out of the back of my '71. Nice and easy to fit, looks great and sounds perfect!

Cheers to Dan for going the extra mile and putting up with my stupid questions. Cant thank him enough for really pulling out the stops on this.

Thanks for the kind words Steve :) I try hard to keep my customers happy, thats why it pays to go to the right people who know the product. ;)
Cheers.
Dan.

As requested, a picture of the exhaust installed. Sorry it took me a few days to sort it!
