Same location as previous years. Full entertainment programme over the weekend with plenty on for kids. The central entertainment area is the marquee with a professional sound system and some cracking music :mrgreen: .

The cars and vans are the heart of the show – we’d love to see some club stands on the Saturday this year. Get in touch if you’re interested.

The show charity this year is the RNLI. Hoping we can make a tidy sum for them.

The Volkspower raffle will take place again and all proceeds go to the charity. We have some great prizes. Simon Lee Conversions have donated a removable camper pod (type in ‘removeable camper pod’ on ebay and the unit will show up – these units will go in almost any van and retail at £925. Lookers VW will put some VW merchandise in and this should include a VW watch. These are fantastic prizes and we hope people will buy generously. Other prizes will be in place as well.

Tickets for the show are on sale now and are available at discount prices until 15/06/11 – Only £18.50 per adult for a weekend ticket and no charge for under 16s (when accompanied by a fee paying adult). We appreciate that some people only want to camp on Saturday night - Saturday night only camping tickets are available at a price of £14. Pay by cheque or Paypal (no additional booking fee).

Recent quotes from local press for Fat Medicine who provide the Saturday night mayhem at Volkspower along with our very own Elvis, Niall Southall, ‘…….the crowd’s response was nothing short of ecstatic…..’ and ‘ …..the second set was rounded off in fine style with Talking Head’s ‘Road To Nowhere’ followed by some jigs and reels guaranteed to tire out even the most enthusiastic dancer’. With the Skabeats skafest on Friday night it promises to be a great party…….and loads of v dubs as well…..win win 8) :mrgreen: .
