Volksworld Show 2013 - Early Bay Line Up

Yes, dont get on it too much the night before and turn up late (like I have both times ive arranged to be in the line up!)

Does anyone know what the allotted times are that weekend participants can arrive and park up in the line-up ?

Can you park up Friday evening for example ? or do you have to arrive by a certain time on Saturday morning ?


i.e , is there a way to avoid a last minute rush ?

We are allowed access on the morning of each day. Ill say between 0800 and 0830 as things stand, access times are restricted due to there being no vehicle movement allowed whilst the show is open to the public.

Hi, no worries, sorry I hadnt been clear. The list as shown is the display line up. There will be minor changes and no doubt some last minute no shows, so it isnt a rigid fixed thing. We turn up, drive in and get parked up, last year on Saturday it got a bit tight but wever not turned anyone away yet Priority goes to those whove commited to the weekend of course, tickets/passes are allocated on arrival, but camping must be seperately booked in ADVANCE.

Hi Every one

i started this thread and was mega keen to get in the line up but now i can't get there early due to family commitments!!

so any one who wants my space on the Sunday its going begging i will pop along to say hello tho.

Here is some info from Volksworld HQ!-

Show is at Sandown Racecourse, Portsmouth Road, Esher. KT10 9AJ

Two adult passes per vehicle will be allocated, on arrival and will be day passes per day, not weekend passes. They must be worn at all times and are not transferable. Children go free.

Access is available from 0800 each day and all vans must be in place by 0930 absolute latest. Once parked and the show is open to the public there is no vehicle movement nor running of engines. There will be no opportunity to leave the show by vehicle until all members of the public have left the event.

No dogs allowed on site.

Early Bay will be displaying on the Red Brick area and should follow signs to the Red Gate ... this is adjacent to the Sandown Lodge Hotel on site.

Vans left in the display area overnight on Saturday/Sunday will be secure but once the venue is closed there will be NO access available. Vehicles can be moved at the close of show Saturday and taken back in on Sunday morning.

There will be First Aid on site. The local hospital is Kingston General Hospital.

There will be security on site but everyone is advised to take caution at all times. Please report any losses or incidents to the organisers. Nearest Police Station in Moleside Service Station, Walton-On-Thames.

Remember Jon (faux) is the POC for Saturday, I will be on site Sunday.
