vw racists?

Some guys on here do have an issue with x-over's though :mrgreen: (touch paper lit :shock: )

As a crossover owner in waiting, (I pick it up on Friday), I just saw it as friendly rivalry...maybe I should be more offended .

It's just that, Baldrick, friendly rivalry. I've always found everyone very friendly on here, and of the many (a dozen or more) forums I go on, this is by far the one I feel most comfortable on, hence I seem to 'live' in here!

I feel ashamed to drive a 57 Astra every day as all the other sales guys seem to have big silver or black BMWs and Audis. Clans are everywhere. I would drive my bus everyday if I could, not sure that it would like the 1000 miles a week I do though!

ive met some really nice people some chavs some silly old gits and some complete cocks in the vw scene.its such a big scene that its not a certain kind of person thing,everyone loves vw so it draws in people from all walks of life and class.i liken the splitt,earlybay late bay thing to houses :roll: if u live in a detached you dont want a semi and if you live in a semi u dont want to be in a teresed.but whatever you are in your usually happy with :mrgreen:

I'm down with you on that idea Strongy, at Santa Pod you really do see 'all sorts' and some genuinely dodgy people. In any scene that's as big as VDubs there's bound to be lots of different people with differing financial outlooks etc. What the scene does is unite everyone in their appreciation of the beauty of this brand.
I personally am not really into water cooled's but I can still see the appeal. I don't judge anyone on what they drive or how much money they have. I appreciate the 'crappy' camper that's falling apart but being camped in far more than the shiny Samba in the 'Show n Shine' but's never actually used as a micro bus/camper. It's still always down to personal opinion, everyone has the right to do what they want with their camper.

I don't mind cross dressers ( :lol: only joking) at all, as long as your camping, it's cool :mrgreen:
