Forgive me cos im no mechanic. Untill 10 mins ago i couldn't even tell u where the petrol tank pipe outlet was. It seems the pipe from the petrol tank runs over the gearbox round the left hand side of engine into fuel pump and is all one solid piece of metal pipe. Then from there its to carb and is new rubber and new fuel filter. I think I've got that lot right. So are u guys saying the rubber part get a new piece of pipe and from fuel pump send it back out of engine bay and have the fuel filter above gear box where the solid pipe comes out of fuel tank? Could i fix it to the solid pipe via tie wraps ?
shiplee123 said:This seems to be almost factory fitted and in good condition. Then from there flexi to filter flexi to carb . It may b wrong but looks like the solid pipe been there years and like most bits on this cali bus seems good as new
Should there b the filter first from the tank
