Wanted: 1971 RHD Devon

I don’t think anything will really come of this but I thought that I would at least ask. I am looking for a RHD 1971 Devon conversion. Not mint condition but not basket case. Paint doesn’t matter, interior doesn’t matter, engine doesn’t matter. Just not a major project. I don’t have an exact budget but I guess £10k would be the amount I’m hoping to go up to.

I have a 1971 RHD bus which I’ve owned for the past 20 years but is now ready to pass on. It was originally a Devon conversion but there’s nothing of the original interior left. It fits your tick list: good condition but not mint and definitely not a basket case. It runs a 1641 engine with twin Webbers, clean interior with new upholstery, a new Space Roofs elevating roof replaces the original Devon roof (https://www.spaceroofs.co.uk/space-roofs-gallery - my bus is the Chianti Red early bay at the bottom right of the T2 Straight Lift page). As expected for a 50 year old vehicle there is some cosmetic welding required to some areas of the lower 6 inches but the chassis is sound. A very reliable bus which has taken us all over Europe. I’m in Argyll and you’re in Dorset so there’s about 700 miles between us and the asking price is at the upper reaches of your budget.
