Hi guys,

My Ma and Pa are looking for a van that is in good solid body work, sleeping arrangements of some sort, kitchen stuff would be a bonus. One issue is distance, it would be great to hear from people within driving distance of Cambridge. Their budget is set around 7/8 grand but would consider paying up to 10k for the right van.

Let us know what you've got!

Cheers

Greg

I know of one in Essex but sadly its way over your budget.....

PM Scott Wilson for RHD vans hes a good guy and will give you all the info you need on his busses very honest as its a long drive but hey you get a good day out or even camp at his for a weekend ;)

MEB still have some coming in I believe and if you speak to them they may pop by for a viewing on the way from the docks again good guys....

Or try speaking to monkeyspinner Tim up here in Stamford he often has some nice useable busses.....

They are the usernames so if use the members list above the index page it will help locate their details and drop them a PM....

What I will say though the price of early bays hasnt been dramatically affected by the economic situation slowed a little but now with a stunning summer being predicted the prices will reflect that.....

That said there are still bargains to be had especially if you think out of the box a little i.e. do you need a full on camper conversion, are you really wanting to sleep inside or carry an awning with sleeping arrangements, do you want a fitted kitchen or a lift out unit....

Good luck with your search and if your needing help then just put a shout out and someone will answer

This is close to you. I went to look at it the other week and although it wasn't quite what i was looking for, it's a honest bus, mostly solid with only a couple of minor issues.

Yeah only saw this in the early days and it was very good condition, wether its the look your parents are after is another Q but is deffinately very useable

Cheers for your help guys.

I think we've managed to find a '72 Dormoblie now. Will keep you all posted as and when it actually happens

Thanks again!
