Hi all,

Insurance has paid me now for the accident we had, I'm now desperately seeking an engine lid and rear bumper for our 70 Bay. Don't mind a little work as it will be repainted but nothing rusty or bent please!

Thanks.

I may have an engine lid hatch, will need to check in the morning, no rear bumper though sorry

Hi Whistler
I have an engine lid but am unable to upload the pics I have been sent by restoman!
PM your e-mail address to me & I will send them to you that way.
Best Regards
Vik

Viks one was a late unfortunately, great condition though.

There is one on the samba, a NOS one if you have $650.00

I certainly don't!

So still looking for both

one on Ebay for a fortune! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-Vw-Camper-Early-Bay-T2-Engine-Lid-/301690177350?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item463e22c746" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Beware though seems to be too much primer where no primer should be

Thanks for the headsup, already spotted that yesterday and was warned off it :)
