No and I don't think you will. I spent ages trying to get complete new locks for my bus. In the end I bought the best items I could find individually and then had them all keyed alike (££££) and even now that's all done I'm still having trouble with the lock mechanisms in the cab doors. It's not easy is it!

Note to any enterprising tool makers / machinists out there! If you start making complete, quality locksets for VW's I'm sure you would do very well indeed.

I've ended up with 2 keyed alike cab door handles, side door with no key as I just reach in to lock and unlock and engine lid and tailgate will have to be seperate keys again.
I know you can get the lock sweeted but its around £25 per lock!! oh and a seperate key for ignition!!
so when I eventualy get round to buying my 2 rear locks which will hopefully be on sunday at volks show I will have a total of 4 keys!! Not the ideal world but for now it will do!!!

Oh and petrol cap
so 5 in all!!!!

I'm looking into doing away with the locks altogether and fitting remote central locking to the whole bus. Everything would be hidden so it would look totally stock, but the actual locking mechanism would be completely independent of the original locksets. It uses a hardened deadbolt type system too so much more secure. Best thing will be no more fiddly old keys and being able to lock & unlock everything with one press of a button on the remote key fob.

I'll let you know how it goes.

An option is to re-key the lock yourself using old parts. I trawled around for SH handles with crap chrome (cheap) and then pulled the lock mechanisms to get a good range of bits. Then I used this guide to re-key the locks to the same code as the ignition key as this one lock is not easy to redo:

If you want, you can get the lock leaves/wafers and springs as a kit from this guy:

http://dubkeys.com/

I sent dubkeys my key code and got back some new lock bits. With salvaged SH locks, and the existing ones, I had more than enough to to re-jig both cab doors, the sliding door, the tailgate and the engine lid so now have all locks on one key. Fiddly and time-consuming to do but well worth it and all for under £50.

C&C offer this service I think if you don't want to do it yourself.

Watch out for new repro handles as these have a different key profile from some of the early locks.

Tom

Edit: You should NOT need to file down any leaves/wafers IF you have salvaged enough spare bits to make a full set (or buy correct ones).
