The router came out for the edge trim slot in the panel and door.

I bought some American cherry veneer a while back just for this.

Glued and clamped. Next job is trimming the veneer, a bit of oil to finish and then the edge trims can be glued on.

That's why I cut it out of one piece of veneer.Nice touch how the wood grain pattern matches up.
Really like that solution for the fuel tank (looks lovely work as well!) - would have much preferred to put mine then if I didn't have the second battery in that location.Diesel heater fuel tank arrived and has been fitted.
That was a nice easy job that took most of the day because someone had previously bolted a remote oil filter housing under the battery tray.
