Are panels becomg really popular then?
I've come from being a waterpumper, but aircooled as always had a place in my heart, and I am finally wanting a van. I thought vans wouldnt have been as popular.
Thats a lovely van spannerboy has, perhaps a little over my bedget, but we'll see

It's not that they're really popular it's just that they're as not as many about as the campers.

I know if you do want one in decent condition though you'll be paying quite a bit for any van at the moment.

It is especially difficult to find an early panel in any kind of condition at the moment.

Thanks for the replies! I'd seen the one at KnK, little more work than I am looking for. It needs a fair bit of welding.

I was going to buy a local one today, but the seller let me down and decided not to sell

i have a early 73 panel you can have for £600
it does need work but is good where it needs to be ...
i also have 58 split panel project £2500 very solid but needs 1 window hole welding up and sunroof hole welding up or sunroof fitted !!!
both these can be sorted for you or bought as projects.
