After a cheap steering wheel for my '72 bay. Not too fussed about the condition as long as it's not cracked.

What you got folks?

Hello there - welcome aboard the EarlyBay Express!

Hope you find the wheel you're after, I looked for ages for one for my '72 but they're a bit different apparently and I couldn't find one with the right part number...

Hello there and thanks for the info.

Looks like I'm gonna have the same trouble as finding one year only calipers!

It sucks doesn't it - I think the calipers are the same as those on the Porsche 914, but don't quote me on that!

I managed to get my calipers sorted after Rob at Machine 7 very kindly donated his old ones.
I was able to get two decent pistons out of them and rebuild mine.

I've learned the hard way what it's like hunting for '72 crossover stuff!

Now, remind me why I bought a '72?

Have a look at this found it whilst looking for stuff for mine on ebay says for a '72 no cracks or lumps missing. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-bay-Camper-T2-Steering-Wheel_W0QQitemZ170148855096QQihZ007QQcategoryZ27385QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
