With all of the work you are doing anyway is it not worth buying an early and fitting a cut from your 72 to ensure the engine will fit?

It sounds like a lot of effort to get a 72?

Ok Guys ....

Back to the search for a bus for NaFe

all fair comments i think but can we get back to finding ME a bus :)

I'm up for finding you a bus! I have a good contact in Texas and I bring a lot of vans back. What I do sometimes, to save my customer money, is find them a van and get them to pay for it, pay the shipping before I have to cough for it and that way I don't have a finiancial risk in it that needs rewarding (business I'm afraid - risk and reward!).

I make a few hundred pounds for my efforts and knowledge - you get the bus you want for the money you want to pay. I can also take care of the MOT and registreation jobs this end too. It is rare in my experience, that a running driving bus in the US will go staright through a UK MOT! They are very slack on safety in some states!

I try not to let my customers buy something I don't feel I could happily sell myself, if they didn't like it when it got here. Also, shipping is not cheap, and you will want to ear-mark at least £2k of your budget for shipping and MOT/registration.

My number is below. Call if you think I may be able to help you out. Good luck!
