I'd really like a set of these too. Maybe somebody can make them?? There must be a way.

Apparantly the company that used to manufacture these said a while ago that if they could get orders of 500 or more individuals willing to stump up the cash they may start up production again.....don`t ask me who they are as i have no idea , but was reading a thread some time ago regarding these...i am sure there must be hundreds of geezers out there wanting some ...
watch this space
see what else i can dig up

Yer they dont look impossible to make.

One of the guys on here is prepeared to take his out of his van if someone is willing to do some copies of them.

Anyone know wanyone handy at metal work?

Dave

calling slim-adi...

is this something you could knock up in your workshop?

Yes I've been searching on line for them and found their offices in Oregon if anyones interested in trying to contact them.

What's with the jubilee clips?

Maybe if a "new" product is developed, these could be replaced with a more permanent "lug"???

I think if someone started making these and even installing there would be a decent market for them.

Bayview - are they any good?

good simple engineering 8) I cant remember but does it bring the seat and back rest in fush with the engine cover or proud of it?

It would seem there is quite a market for these developing.

We should try and find someone who can make these either a few sets or a crap load of them.

Anoyone have any ideas who would be able to do this?

Dave

oh right,

Tim (bayview) has a set he'd be willing to take out for a cut of the action i think!

what do you guys recon?

i think we could make this happen.

I'd rather pay £100 or so rather than 1k for a camping interior.

Dave

If they can be knocked out as a kit for the sub £100 then good I know you can get them in the states when they come up for around $75....

With a well specced microbus interior they do look the dogs....

The thing about looking for them in the states is they dont seem to crop up all that often.

Do you think we should start a thread to get a bunch of names for people who want them?

Who contacted this Slim Ali dude?

Dave
