Just got round to fixing the leaks and replacing missing pipework on my Westy sink unit and fitted new tap/hand pump, not sure why I bothered spending £100 on a new one as I can spit more than comes out of the pump, i guess it would take a good hour plus to fill the sink.

Also wasted £18 on a new Westy sink plug which doesn't stop the water from going down the drain (will have to pop to £ shop to get a universal plug).

Is it possible to retro fit an electric pump to supply water via the standard tap?

A good Westy tap pumps water well, are you sure it isnt pulling in air somewhere?

Maybe pulling some air in then as i had to prime the pump to get it to pull any water from the tank and definately sounded like it was gurgling a bit, might have to try a get a hoseclamp round the top of the pipe.

Also had a bit of water leaking out of the handle (maybe i need to rebulid the NEW handle and replace the gaskets).
