water pump

my water pump has packe up in my devon (it is one that has to be primed)

it has a pipe going to tap and a pipe that goes in water tanks then is operated by foot pump, here my question would one of these work

does it just sit in water tank and tap pipe connect and then wire 12v supply to foot pump

or am i being a bit thick :lol:

all help welcome or maybe someone has a system they could recomend

Fitted a small submersible pump in my westy that just sits in the bottom of my water container - wired to inline switch - works a treat!
