Hi,

I'm about to install the interior with birch ply going into the cargo area and the vinyl going into the cab area at a later date. Has anyone coated the interior with waxoil? Is it a good idea, any problems with smell? Is there a better alternative?

Is there anything else with less odour? I was looking through the Dinitrol range, but don't know what is suitable.

Dinitrol smells like waxoyl really, but the aerosol stuff seeps a lot better. The dinitrol I've got comes with a long probe which is great for doing inside the frame of the roof.

Agreed.

I went for this stuff http://www.bilthamber.com/cavity-waxes/dynax-s50" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has been very easy to apply and heard nothing but good things about it.

I had used Dinitrol ML3125 underneath the bus sprayed into cavities, but if it's fine for the inside as well I'll stick with that. Does much water come through the louvred windows in the back? Is it essential to apply this stuff to protect the interior? VW didn't use it.
