Are the bits in the red circles to close to the fuel tank to weld????

Its not the heater tubes need welding, its the floor around them that does. Its a bite ripe.

Have been underneath and looked? The fuel tank is a long way from there. However, some other vital parts like the wiring loom aren't. You need a good look underneath and get your geography worked out.
