The Line up looked great .

And yeah that Mk 3 is as mad as a bucket of Frogs. Check out the vid on the T2D blog. Plenty of scrapeage going on :shock: .

Was good to see you lot again, props to everyone involved organizing it.
Was the first time I've been and think I'll be making the effort to get down there again (especially if I've got a nice comfy bed and secure parking in Hove again )

Hopefully no one saw my handbrake mishap, I got up on the roofrack to take a photo and the Huey decided to roll down hill into the kerb. I only panicked a little bit :lol:

Any more info on this?..... is that a working aircooled engine?...... is the og engine still in the front?

Obviously the biggest question is WHY!, But then again the answer is probably 'because then can'

Looks like they have grafted a golf shell on to a beetle chassis, That is the backbone and front beam. Ie all of a beetle chassis except for the floor pans.

Its a type 3 pan i think its a great fun project and why not make a Mk3 look cool for a change :lol:
