Westfalia Mozzy Nets

I managed to get some mozzy net frames from FBI VW yesterday, they had a few different types there, some like this (thanks aogrady for the photo)

with the little clips that hold them in place, and some that didnt, does any one know if these were for different year vans?

the ones without the clips probably had them at one time but they often break off over time.

No worries dude! Mines a 1970. FYI, Clyde's bus IIRC hasn't got the clips, or the holes for them, i'm sure he said. But his is earlier.

yeah the one I saw didnt have holes for them or any evidence of them so I dont think they were snapped off.

I'm guessing it was an improvement, probably due to the frames ratteling.

Yeah, think that's why Clyde took his out????? There is a knack of getting them to fit into the window frame though, they sit inside not outside the frame.
