Hi Kombi lovers,

Would a Westy owner with an original Baltic birch headliner get some measurements for me?

I would get them myself but it is very, very rare to come across a Westy in Australia.

I am going to replicate a Westy Birch headlining and need to get the A, B and C measurements of the J Channel as well as D and E which would be the measurement from the fold of the window sill to the bottom of the J channel.

I can't seem to find the info in any searches on this site.

Where are you ?
I've got the J channels and some of the westy birch lining
In OZ!!

Live In Newcastle, work in Sydney NSW. Ive got the birch cut to westy size but am just struggling to figure out the J Channel sizes to get a similar product from the aluminum wholesaler

PM me your mobile number and ill send u a couple of pix with measurments

lolight70, any chance you could send me the same measurements as I want to do the same thing as SUTTO please.

A is 20.6 mm
B is 7 mm
C is 11 mm
The loop of the J tapers
It's 7mm at the widest

What measurements do u need for D and E ?
Yetty buy me the air fare and I'll gladly come shake ur hand ;)

Sorry mate, the measurement from the top of the window to the bottom of where the 'J' channel is fixed, as I have got some paper templates from another member and knowing my luck I'll fix the 'J' channels in place and the ply headliner will fall out.

I just sourced these J channels on Ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/391373948205?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope to use them as an original channel substitute for my tintop.
