I may be in the minority here but I think the westy roof is the best looking of the lot.

It respects the rules of proportion and looks just as good as a tintop.

Here here :D :D but on a serious note horses for course, I agree with tricky but when you look at the pros and con of all of them, there's not a lot in it.
 
Made a bit more progress with the roof, some of the screws are rusted badly and where a bugger to undo.

Sorry for the bad quality pics they looked better on the phone at the time.. must have been the dust in my eyes :lol:

After some advise from those with Dorma roofs or that have restored one before.. do I cut the hinge mounting plates out of the roof incase they had gone rusty?

I think as I'm going for a fairly stock look I'm going to replace the canvas with 13mm Red and White Candy like what was on there
