If you have a look on here it might help to make your mind up, they normally recommend Clarke for DIY/Hobby use.
Have a look on MachineMart website to get an idea of specs etc then PM weldequip on the welding forum as he will beat there price and the after sales is second to non. Depending on your budget, but i recently bought a Clarke 135TE (130 Amps) from weldequip (steve) ordered on Monday afternoon, invoice came in Tuesdays post and Welder was delivered on Wednesday

definetly ask weldequipe (steve) on mig-welding.co.uk before you buy, very very helpful bloke, i bought a Portamig 181 from him, top notch welder for the cash but if your on a budget he can recommend the right machine for you.

Yeah, I was going to buy a welder from weldequip but getting it here was an issue for him. Clarke 151 was recommended, got one elsewhere - great machine.

I was the supplier/courier that wouldn't do it, AFAIK he gets them shipped direct from Clarke distributors.

I have a set of Porsche centre caps missing between Royal Mail and An Post. :(
