Had an EMPI in my old '72, slickest shifter I've ever had, but don't think this is the norm

I have a Berg in the Split, and if it would fit the Bay I'd definitely keep it :)

But, I love the look of this...

A mate has a CSP shifter he bought for his split, but got the wrong year
He`s offered it to me to try on my bus , think it`s for a 67.
Any one know if this might fit my 70 Bay?
Cheers Paul.

Hi,

Just fitted the empi hurst style in my bus - only been through the gears in the garage but feels 1 million times better already  very impressed,

This is in first - it's tight but doesn't get in the way of the handbrake:

I can't say what is the best...but I got my Gene Berg shifter today and it's brilliant. The gear selection is just so positive. Don't know about it being the best, but I'm well pleased.
