Wheel clearance???

I'm chasing so info or advise. I would like to fit se 17"x7" rader wheels from cip1 which state they will fit a bus up to 1970. The question is has anyone fitted these wheels to an early bay before as I would like to know it the rims clear the rear wheel castle nut and also the snout as it is quite large on the rear drum
 
Not too sure if anyone here is running them but there is this one in the US, late bay though.

Good to see another aussie on board Mozzie. My 2 cents, don't bother running 17's unless you're prepared to do a lot of work. You will need some pretty big chassis notches and tubs to get this low or to even get it looking half decent.

Thanks heaps for the info guys. Yeah I will be running some 2.5-3" wheel tubs but no chasis notching as I don't want to be cutting up my 69 dual slider Rhd walk through panel van :D
