Fitting Mk1 granny Ronal alloys to my 72 bay, I am told that i just need to bore the centres and get some new wheel nuts from SSP. When I ring tomorrow does anyone know the Tec spec for the nuts ( i think they are some sort of Mag nut and washer?) or will they know what I need if I just ask in plain English?
Cheers Dave

I can ;)

Ok, so they are not actually on my Bay but you get the idea.

Dave, did you not get me PM?

Dave,

Thread should be to be M14*1.5
Sizes approx
Washer ID 20mm, OD 28mm
Nut length is 36mm of with first 18/19mm is turned down to fit fixing hole in alloy -see pic

Cheers Matt
Got your PM, they turned out to be 14x1.5 Mag nuts and washers with a 3/4 inch shank 12mm long, got them from machine 7, the bolt holes measured 18.65mm but this was due to distortion when tightening and just needed hand reaming out to 3/4 inch. Bored out the centre to 66mm to take a beer can centre cap but had to bore it out to 68mm for 18mm on the inside to clear the grease cap.
Cheers again Matt.

Mine are not detailed in black. I am in two minds, going to leave them as is for the time being.

Good thing is you can use standard 185x14 cheap 6ply tyres as they are 14", the off set is 5mm narrower so I am going to use 5mm spacers on the rear, leaving them looking narrower on the front.
