Ever had one of those days when it seems nothing can go right, when every move is countered by a problem or inconvenience???? Yes, of course you have, thats life , but today has done my head in big time!
First off, waking several times in the night due to really weird dreams. Then the alarm going off and waking to a massive headache (due to poor sleep). Very deft manouvers needed to get car onto road due to rubbish parking by neighbours. Headache etc not helped by builders taking a wall out with hammer and bolster, stupidly loud radio (with that t*at Moyles spouting off) and gobby idiot of an air con 'engineer' giving his 'small boy' loads of grief. (so-called engineer really needs a big slap, what a w*nker). Despite recent lack of work, looking forward to getting away at 12.30 so as to get to Northampton to pick up new CB (one bought at SSVC meet is U/S) ready for EBI, going Thursday. Get off work at 2.00pm (not moaning, all time chargeable!). Mega thunderstorm on route to Northampton, 30mph max. Storm clears, miss turning, do extra 15 miles to get to where I need to be. Come away with assurance that existing ariel will be fine, new radio will sort it. Knew I should have got a new one whilst in the shop......Driving home take the usual cross country route to avoid traffic, only to TWICE encounter massive diversions and queues. Getting ready to kill something by this point. Get home (eventually, hour and a half later than planned) install CB only to find the ariel is also faulty, in process upset neighbours with foul language. Adjourn to local for comfort, only for 'mates' to take the pee.
Anger has now been substituted by the need to cry.
I WANT MY MUM!!!! (by now it's too late and she will be in bed, bless her !!)
EDIT.
Oh, and tonight I was supposed to be seeing AC/DC but had to sell the tickets due to lack of income....... Another box on lifes tick-list not completed. Pass the vodka.
