Which immobiliser? or is it not worth it

Reading around it seems the biggest theft issues appear to be from off your drive/outside the house. That means the theif is more likely to be planned and prepare. In which case some kind of physical immobiliser - wheel clamp or hinged post might be best to help prevent the towaway..

As above. It seems that what works is a combination of visible deterrent, physical barrier and tracker device. A wheel clamp is perhaps the most visible and effective, combined with one of Uber Cool's pedal clamps (on order :D )

An immobiliser only kicks in once some bugger has bent the door back or smashed the glass. I would rather they know from the outset that they cannot drive it away, than once they have caused some damage.
