Not a major resto more of a freshen up, engines out at the mo. Repainting the bay and fixing a couple of leaks on the engine, also powdered the tinware. Hope to get the motor back in next weekend.

Done 100 miles in it today (my daily wouldn't start so had to take the van)
Not the best looking van but useable and having a semi-interior rebuild / re-furb
April 6th having ti lowered on adjusters and rear spline turned

Picked it up 23rd December 2007 (Merry Christmas to me!) Longest been off the road was best part of a fortnight when fitting the K&L beam and found bent trailing arms. Californian bus so no rot to deal with, and no 'resto' planned, just a constant evolution, stuff I want to do and stuff that needs to be done. Tons planned and parts sat waiting, just time to do it! Too busy driving it to take it off the road for more than a day!

Mine lives just off the road :lol: but is always ready to drive at any time 8) - it is my only working vehicle so it has to be on call all the time.

My bug currently looks not dissimilar to this...

But still also has MOT (til the end of the month), tax and insurance

This poll is too extreme, ours if off the road at the moment but as soon as I sort the broken side light connection, sort the US style tail lights and MOT - we'll be on the road for the summer......a little flutter of excitement every time I think of it!
