in there position why havent they thought of this,im sure they could make a killing on it, its not like they would be taking the odd thing here and there .i would think the vans would be full, which would make it viable.

any way just wondered?
probably a really good reason

I work for Royal Mail so I feel I'm at least partially qualified to answer this one!

The issue for all postal carriers is what they call the 'final mile' - getting items from a regional delivery office to the door is the expensive bit!

I doubt that eBay could compete - nor would they want to spend the £££'s setting it all up, after all, they're making a fortune without getting involved aren't they?

;)

Don't encourage them

They are dominating online sales etc already. And somehow ebay still sucks IMO. I've actually only had 1 or 2 mildly disappointing experiences on there of about 500, but I still don't like it for some reason.

perhaps I should start 'Earl-ebay' - an auction site just for Earlybays !

Go forth and make it so Mr earlybay! :D
