Why does my carb only leak fuel when i've turned the engine off and left it for a few minute. Solex 30PICT - 1?

possible the floats sticking slightly.....but then if I'm not mistaken you already identified a leak from the shut off???? it may be its not shutting down fully

Yer the cut off solinoid wasn't working so replaced that but still doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. So a bit stumped now

can you hear it click when you connect and disconnect it with the ignition on?

if not test the wire to see if it has 12v. i once reconnected to the wrong side of the coil.

Yer it does click when i turn on the ignition..... it's strange it only leaks sometimes?
