I'm converting my 69 to late bay disc brake setup with dropped spindles.

Looking at some wide 5 adapter plates but I'm worried the added track will make it look wrong, or maybe I could compensate it with skinny tyres?

anyone using adaptor plates and can share a pic? :)

I'm using adapters with late bay spindles (stock, not dropped) but if I remember correctly, the spindles reduce track slightly which offsets the adapters. I'm also running 15" split rims which are narrower than 14" bay rims. Will post a pic later.

yes that would be good to see, thanks! I wouldn't have thought the spindles will reduce the track otherwise late bays would be narrower than earlies as stock,... unless the wheel offset is different mabe?

I was basing this on Uber Cools thread here http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11772&start=40" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but didn't check it myself :)
