Will link pin spindles take early brake calipers?

Hi, Just in the proces of a King and Link conv. Got the spindles on, hubs and discs back on, but when I slid the caliper over the disc to mount it, it fouls the spindle and wont line up witht the bolt holes. It seems as if needs milling a few mill to line up. Can anyone shed any light on this? will I need later calipers?

What spindles are you using? Later Brazilian ones are the only ones set for discs so I would assume you would need later calipers.

Could be wrong though.

70-71 calipers are different to the 72> ones I believe. They certainly seem to be advertised as 2 year only calipers. The discs are slightly smaller too I believe! Think you will need the later calipers and discs (can't use early discs and late calipers as the pads don't cover the entire disc) to fit the Brazilian link pin spindles!
