Dropped spindle info

Hi guys, I've searched but maybe ended up confusing myself further!

I want to fit a set of dropped spindles to my 70, drum brakes, standard width beam. Fed up with watching out for every little hole in the road as running lowered beam only at min and get a bang when hitting those holes.

I've checked the usual suppliers but it seems there is no straight purchase to suit my set up. Looks like I need late bay brakes or disc conversion.

Is that correct or am I just being stupid?
