Mine are away for a while now. All my old cars live in my heated workshop which I’m incredibly lucky to have HOWEVER….. Heat & dry storage alone won’t save them if you park them up without taking a few precautions. Good wash & polish and make sure the underside is clean too. Road Salt is the car killer more than anything else.

A good dose of rain last week seemed to wash our roads free from salt briefly. The roads were bone dry Friday after work, but the big storm was about to land so i made a quick mile dash to the garage to fill right up with E5, plus some Lucas safeguard. Hopefully will keep the tank protected from too much condensation forming within it.

Mine is kept in a garage with a C-Tec battery trickle/condition charger connected, Wax oiled, full tank and foidyvtype stuff removed. I do start up and movevthe bus around a few times over the winter. I would make sure you have a good breathable cover if not garaged. I had JK one when mine was outside. Wadnt bad atcall especually as it had door access so I could get in and out.
