I was planning to do that. My washer does hold decent pressure but an electric one will always be better.

I'm just saying that an original pressure bottle won't work anymore, because the switch you have now has a mechanical push button to release the pressure, but this new switch only works on electrics and sends a signal to the electric washer pump. So if you don't change to an electric pressure bottle you can't spray the windows anymore and there is no use to wiping three times after washing as it won't wash anymore.

The Moss unit works by setting the delay each time you turn on the wipers. You can set it for between 3 to 30 seconds according to their site.
It also has the automatic three wipes after pressing the washer button, ....if that's what you want.

The Revolution unit works by turning to position one to get automatic 8 second intermittent. If you want faster; 5 and 3 sec delay, you turn the knob clockwise briefly to the second on position, and then back to number one position. You can decrease the speed by going the opposite way. To get the wipers to work on slow speed, you turn the knob to the second position for 1 second then back to number one position. Fast speed (if you ever need it) is just turning the knob to second position as normal.

I have found that the 8 second delay is the one I use mostly in drizzle/light rain as it seems to be the right speed for everything up to steady/heavy rain. I sometimes find I want an even longer delay but not very often.

For me I am happy to have the three intermittent delay speeds already set, and not having to set the delay each time. I don't find the lack of an automatic wash/wipe a problem I just do it myself. You have the choice to leave the washer stock using air pressure or do the mod I mentioned in my earlier post.

The revolution unit also is meant for VW vehicles so I was confident it would work with the auto parking of the wipers. The Moss one may work as well but seems to be aimed at classic British sports cars. I couldn't find anything on the various VW forums about the Moss unit about anyone actually fitting one, whereas on the Samba there was someone who had fitted the Revolution unit.

I bought my Revolution unit in January and it cost me £57 including shipping, which I thought was good value for money. I don't think its gone up much since then.

Just my tuppence worth, hope this helps. :)
