EB Gang,

Need a lil bit of advice or pointers. Going to wire up this weekend and hope to turn over the engine. My engine is already wired up Coil - distributor - Plugs. This is my wiring plan from the battery.

Battery

* Negative - Earth to frame
* Positive - to Alternator (internally regulated)
* Positive - to starter

Alternator

* Earth to frame
* To light on dashpanel

Starter

* To ignition

Ignition Coil

* To Fuse box

I'll obviously have another checkover but anything you feel I have missed?

Cheers

Des

Rather than running 2 live wires from the battery it might be easier to run a wire from the batery to the starter and then from the starter to the alternator (think this is how most modern cars are wired)
Also dependson what carb / carbs your running as the standard solex also requires a 12v supply to the choke and the anti-run on valve (think thats what its called)
