very helpful

Thanks Bob

Just out of interest how much do they charge for a standard loom?

Can only find splitty or 240v wiring loom on their site?

I payed about £275 with some extra cables put in for gauges always worth asking if he can do anything with the price as I think they are trying to break into the VW world a bit more he also will send out the wiring diagram that he builds your loom to so no guessing.

How easy was fitting? Tempted with mine as its a U.S. Import with some very crusty wires!

Not to difficult just about as it follows the old one just if you want to install it fully you would need to remove th fuel tank for the petrol gauge wires

Sounds easy but my God it took us ages to fit the tank back in trying to get the rubber filler pipe back on - really awkward. There is hole cut in in ours above the sender to help with connecting the sender unit done by previous owner. Tank was out for full ground up resto and it had just come back from the paint shop.
