Wooden Rear Hinge Cover

Hi all!

First post in a while, I’ve managed to finally find a wooden hinge cover for my 69 Westy bus.

I thought it would easily slot in but no such luck, I’m struggling to see how it fits, I believe they’re quite rare but I wonder if anyone has any photos of one fitted?

I may need to remove the rear headliner and possibly even trim some off it?

Fair point Ozzy - kinda useless without pics!



Here’s the new piece, I’m concerned it’s not bent quite enough, and here is where it needs to go (somehow!)

I'm not sure I’ve ever seen one other than in a B&W grainy photo in a campmobile manual.

Any help or photos would be gladly appreciated !

68/69 had this with a net storage so ie no overhead unit so maybe from memory the wooden headliner went up to this and not under?
