Would a late bay sliding door fit my early bay?

I've seen a few late left side RHD sliding doors for sale. Would these fit my early bay (1970) or are they quite different, if so what is the difference :?:

I know the door handle / recess is different on a EB also the lock is seperate from the handle on a late one - extra hole in the door.

Also the the u shape that holds the door to the runner is different.

The end of the u shape has different (only slightly mind!) machining. This means that the sliding hinge is also different.

Worth remembering as you will need an early u shape if replacing. :mrgreen:
