One problem I can see is that it has a fixed tow hitch, this might be a problem on a lowered bus as you can't fit a raising plate.

just going by the image, the brackets dont look the right shape to fit an early bay without modding (not long enough)

but what are the rims on that split?

They look like 14" NSU Ro80 Alloys - see the thread here:

If you can live with the fact that they're only 14" (and very narrow) they can look great!
